Android and iPhone Restock Process
The devices can be set to automatically restock.
Restocking occurs as part of the End of Day (EOD) process on the device if the Restock flag is set from the office. When it is set and run the device will automatically replenish the inventory up to the devices minimum levels and generate a Restock Report for the office to run in order to full fill the restock request.
Rental Items
When a Rental product is replaced during a service call, the ready/full items are depleted from the trucks inventory and any products ‘returned’ are put into a Need Service status. During the End of Day Restock process, these Needing Service items are moved off of the truck and put into the warehouse, if exists.
The office can set the restock flag by:
- Opening Phones and Tablets
- Find the desired device in the list
- Open it
- Go to the Custom Values tab
- Open the single grid row displays (DO NOT CREATE AN ADDITIONAL ROW)
- Check the Restock Checkbox
- Record->Save and Close
- The next time the devices runs and End of Day it will restock the inventory
If there is a warehouse tablet defined, the restock will pull from that devices inventory. So when the warehouse device next synchronizes it will deplete any items and mark the negative quantity with the flag “REPLENISH”.
