The list measurements can be found in the Main Form->View->Lists->Measurements
The base of all products in the Trakker system is a Unit. A Unit is 1 item (product or raw material). However it is sometimes desirable to have other measurements for items. Therefore Trakker allows you to define your own measurements.
For example you may wish to sell products by the box or crate. Box and Crate would be conversions. It is here that you would give the name to the measurement type (box, crate, etc.). Then in the Products Converions or global Conversions you would define how many units make up a box or a crate or how many units make up a box and how many boxes make up a crate…
After a measurement is defined it can be utilized in the Products Converions definition, which will allow things to be ordered and tracked by these defined conversions for that product.
- Name: The name of the Measurement.
- Notes: This is for general notes you may wish to list.
